This former gold rush town is a hot spot for area tourists who are interested in shopping at antique and curiosity shops in the “old town” atmosphere of downtown Placerville.
The old town is surrounded by lovely Victorian homes and cottages. Larger properties are spread throughout the city limits and are popular with many of those seeking “country living” within the reach of Sacramento or the high tech industry of
