Much like Roseville, Rocklin is a former railroad town turned mainstream suburb. Just North of Roseville, Rocklin is home to many retail establishments, software companies, offices, and warehousing enterprises. Much of its growth has taken place in the last 10 years making it among the fastest growing areas in the greater Sacramento region.
Lush foothills mark Rocklin’s landscape which is also home to some of the areas finest public and private golf courses.
Just like Roseville, many Rocklin residents enjoy the proximity to mountain ski resorts and Reno, NV.
Rocklin has its own, well-respected school district with 6 elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. Additionally, it has a community college, Sierra College. Area hospitals include Sutter Roseville and Kaiser Roseville; both state of the art, newer hospitals.
Housing in this area is concentrated mostly on single-family residences, though apartment homes and condos can be found in the area too. Prices range from moderately priced to high-end luxury homes on golf course lots.
